Nutritional Health

 1. Eat a balanced diet:

Include a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains (e.g. wheat, jowar, bajra, brown rice), pulses and proteins (e.g. paneer, curd, fish, eggs, chicken) in your diet.

Try to eat fruits and vegetables of every color, as they contain different vitamins and minerals.

2. Drink plenty of water (Hydration):

Drink enough water throughout the day. Maintaining proper water balance in the body (staying hydrated) is very important.

Make it a habit to drink a glass of warm water when you wake up in the morning.

Drinking a glass of water before meals makes you feel full and prevents you from overeating.

Drinking less water can cause headaches, fatigue and constipation.

3. Avoid Processed Foods:

Stay away from foods like bakery products, chips, processed snacks and fast food. These foods are high in sugar, salt and unhealthy fats.

Prefer eating fresh food cooked at home.

4. Reduce Sugar and Salt:

Eat less sweets, sweet drinks, chocolates and other sugary foods.

Avoid adding salt to your food. Packaged foods are high in salt, so limit their intake.

Try using natural spices (e.g. ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander) in your food instead of salt.

5. Include Whole Grains and Fiber:

Include whole grains like wheat, jowar, bajra, and gram in your diet instead of flour.

Soaking and cooking grains in water improves their digestion and helps the body absorb nutrients properly.

Eating fiber-rich foods (e.g. fruits, vegetables, grains) improves digestion and keeps the stomach clean.

6. Eat Small, Frequent Meals:

Instead of eating a lot at once, eat small meals (snacks) several times a day. This keeps metabolism good and appetite controlled.

This prevents sudden increases in blood sugar levels.

7. Eat mindfully:

Stay away from the TV or mobile phone while eating.

Chew each bite slowly and savor the taste of the food. This will help you feel satisfied with less food and prevent overeating.

Eat only after thinking about whether you are really hungry.

8. Never Skip Breakfast:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives you energy throughout the day.

Choose a breakfast that is rich in protein and fiber.

By following these tips, you can eat a healthy and balanced diet, which will keep your health in good condition.
